Path of Life

I guess this is supposed to represent a person's "path of life." No one can see what lies ahead of them/ knows what the future holds in store (hence the veil of mist/ fog).
You also might notice the road sign in the distance... It's a merging roads sign. I wanted to indicate that although a lot of our "life's journey" is made alone, people will often cross our path. Sometimes it may only be for a brief time, but there are others (a select few people) who "merge roads" with us, so to speak, and stay with us for the rest of our lives. Of course I'm talking about our companions (boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife - whatever), close friends, family - loved ones in general.
